THE CROSS

The Cross towards the San Leonardo Bridge

At the confluence of Via Puglie with Via Lucania, in the direction of the Ponte di San Leonardo (via per Laterza), is the oldest of the Ginosa Crosses.

The Cross of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers.

This dates back to the early 1900s, it was initially located near the entrance to the current Avola street and was subsequently moved, in the Fascist period, following the urban development of the area.
