In the photo we can see the Royal decree with which Vittorio Emanuele III, in 1923, established the Province of the Ionian, with Taranto as its capital.
Ginosa was located in the province of Otranto, one of the most beautiful and richest lands of this province.
Here there were many civilized, literate, noble and good-natured people.
