Marina di Ginosa, a fraction of the city of Ginosa, called "twenty-five" by all the Ginosini.The reason for this 'alternative name' many associate it with the distance from the inhabited center of Ginosa to Marina di Ginosa, that is 23 km (rounded to 25), but this is not the case, the truth is given precisely by this station makingpart of the Jonica Taranto-Reggio Calabria railway, inaugurated in 1869 and located at tollbooth no.25, here is the origin of the toponym "twenty-five".
